Flora Library: Girl in a yellow dress
terry lacy, artist
In 2011 the Flora Library Board of Trustees commissioned Carroll County professional artist and designer Terry Lacy to create a large oil painting of the Flora Library. The painting was to be populated with images representing people who were important to the history of the town, the library or both. The painting is 4' X 8' and hangs in the Children's Room with a biography displayed for each individual depicted.
The People of the painting: a tribute
This brochure accompanies prints of the painting the library has for sale, and contains the same information included on the biography board displayed with the painting. It has been modified for internet display.
